After graduating, he practiced as an associate veterinarian at a private practice in St Mary's County for 2 years before joining a large national veterinary practice and served as Chief of Staff at several locations in Glen Burnie, Bowie and Hanover MD for the past 13 years.

Amy has dedicated the majority of her adult life to caring for animals. She spent 20 years as a veterinary technician at a nearby animal hospital before leaving to pursue other opportunities. She has since missed working in the field and has made the decision to join the team at Lake Shore Pet Hospital. While she enjoys every aspect of veterinary medicine, she particularly enjoys drawing blood, catheter placement and assisting in surgery. Her compassion and caring nature are unquestionable.
Married in October of 1999, she and her husband Chris have two children and have lived in the Pasadena area since they met. Amy added Kaiser, a doberman from DARE, Doberman assisted rescue and education to their family a few years ago after reading about his rough start in this world.
In her spare time she enjoys running marathons, competing in Ironman triathlons and any activity that can be done in sun or on the water.

She loves taking pictures as a hobby and especially love taking photos of her 2 dogs, Max (7 year old coonhound) and Mollie (2 year old lab/husky mix).
